Store Manager

for Wheat’s Flagship Store in Islington, London

Role Summary

As Store Manager, you will lead and inspire the team to ensure retail operations in our Islington store run smoothly. You’ll champion a customer-focused culture, drive performance, and use your in-depth knowledge of the brand and product features to coach the team and deliver an exceptional in-store experience.

This is a full-time role including some weekend work.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Be a brand ambassador; showcase the brand ethos and exceptional customer service
  • Oversee day to day activities, including inventory management and store presentation
  • Drive sales goals on a weekly, monthly and seasonal basis
  • Inspire the team with brand storytelling and product knowledge
  • Plan in-store events and activities to build a local community in Islington
  • Manage the store Social Media accounts, email and local marketing

 

 

Skills and experience 

-        Proven experience in retail management (Children’s retail is an asset)

-        Strong communication skills

-        Customer-oriented mindset

-        Ability to analyse sales and KPI data

-        Experience with inventory management

-        A passion for creating memorable retail experiences

-        An interest in being part of an organisation working at a high standard of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability
