Spring jackets with cottonseed wax

Wheat Outerwear Parka Spriing Jacket 2116 violet sweet peas
We love new technical solutions for outerwear. But this season, we have used an old technique to create our take on a timeless, old-school classic. No plastic or chemicals.

Coated cotton- is what we call the fabric the new spring jackets are made of: organic cotton treated with cottonseed oil. Oil treatment is an old technique for making textiles water-repellent – first used to make sails resistant to wind and weather, and later transferred to the popular oilskin outerwear. Wheat's jackets are made on the same principle, just with oil extracted from cottonseeds.
Welcome to a chemical-free, weatherproof spring jacket that can be worn well into autumn with a nice jumper underneath.

Water-repellent with plant wax.
